MS QuickBASIC...
On the Mac?
Welcome to the MacQB, a website dedicated to Microsoft QuickBASIC
on the Macintosh. QuickBASIC is a second generation BASIC
language and compiler which is well known and loved by many on the DOS
platform. What most people don't realize is that there was also a
version released for the Macintosh in 1988! The software was sold
for $99 and was easily better than Microsoft's other BASIC products for
the Macintosh as well as many others. But after a couple of
years, they stopped selling it, and it quickly disappeared.
But this website is here
to change that. The MacQB is here to provide access to information and
downloads concerning this piece of BASIC history on the Macintosh.
